FAQ
Chat can be busy for many reasons, so volume alone does not tell you how funny a moment is. JamPoint also considers laughter intensity per message and question reactions. Overlay chat activity on fun score to compare the two patterns. Fun score is still a navigation aid, not a guarantee that a scene is entertaining.
CHZZK and SOOP support reaction graphs, segment navigation, auto-play, timeline copying and display settings. UI accents are mint on CHZZK and blue on SOOP. Caches and last selected segments are separated by platform and video. SOOP’s native hold-for-2× gesture remains in use on the video, with an optional gesture in empty areas of JamPoint’s segments panel.
Messages with 1–4 ㅋ receive no laughter score. Intensity starts at 5 and reaches its maximum at 15; longer laughter adds no extra weight. Question reactions count once per message containing only question marks, symbols and laughter, excluding normal written questions. Default weights are 1 per maximum-intensity laughter message and 0.2 per question-reaction message, and can be changed in settings.
The list’s sort order is shared by its navigation buttons, toolbar buttons, [ and ] shortcuts, and auto-play. The default is highest fun score first. Choose video time order to watch chronologically. Seek lead and post-reaction time both default to 10 seconds and are adjustable.
By VOD length calculates a target from each replay’s duration. The default is 10 per hour: a five-hour VOD targets 50 segments. Adjust the hourly target, set a total count, or enter a reaction threshold. Ties and merged segments may result in a nearby count.
Choose Korean, English or the browser language. Overall UI size ranges from 50–150%, graph height reaches 300%, and graph width is adjustable separately. You can also change theme, colors, toolbar position and panel/toolbar/graph opacity. Drag the logo to move the toolbar; double-click to reset its position.
Analysis happens in your browser, and message text is not stored. Only settings, time-bucket aggregates, last selected segments and minimal review-prompt usage state are stored on your device, not sent to a developer server. Metadata and chat are retrieved from the platform APIs. See the privacy policy for details.
It works with CHZZK and SOOP VODs that provide replay chat. It is not for live broadcasts and does not bypass sign-in or video access restrictions. Availability may vary with chat access and platform changes.
An optional experimental feature boosts reactions in quieter chat periods to help find moments you may have missed. Scores in busy periods are not reduced. It keeps the original threshold and can add quieter moments with strong reactions. You can turn it on or off.
